Spirit Animals: EAGLE, YOUR GRACE

Eagle Spirit Animal

The meaning of eagle spirit animal remains the same no matter where we look. Eagle spirit animal is the messenger of the gods and the lord of the birds. There are sixty species of eagles around the world and copious legends in every culture to match. Eagles are synonymous with the freedom, vision and enlightenment.

Eagle Eye

Eagle has a number of adaptations to his vision that allow him to see anywhere from 4 to 8 times better than humans. There are five times more light-sensitive cells in eagle’s eyes, one million cells to be exact, than in a human’s. He sees five basic colors when we see only three. He has two or three deep fovea at the back of each eye that act as telephoto lenses, which enable him to judge the distance to an object (stereoscopic vision) as well as discern details at great distances. We only have one shallow fovea per eye. Studies have shown that eagle can see a rabbit up to two miles away. Eagle also has a well-developed supraorbital ridge that shades his eyes from sunlight, reducing glare.

Eagle spirit animal offers you an opportunity to practice seeing your life differently. We all have our own perspective on things which, in relation to eagle, is short-sighted. Perspective is personal and limited by what we experience and the knowledge we gain.

Eagle symbolism teaches us how to catch a strong breeze, surrender to the will of the Divine and gain the gift of perception. As eagle soars high in the sky, he can see for miles around taking in the landscape through his senses, perceiving all. When we tap into, or merge, with The One, we no longer are limited by our own story and we see the interconnectivity of all things. This is what it means to perceive and to embody eagle medicine.

A Godly Bird

As a messenger of the Divine, eagle spirit animal has taken many forms, including those of the gods themselves. The Greek god Zeus turns into a golden eagle to wield thunder and lightening. Both Zeus and the Roman God Jupiter employ golden eagle as their emissary. In Hinduism, the great Lord Vishnu has for his favored mount the divinity “Garuda” who has the body of a human and the head and wings of an eagle. Garuda is the enemy of evil which are represented by snakes.

In the Egyptian alphabet, eagle represents the sound A, or aleph, which shows his predominance over all other birds. Garuda is also known as the king of the birds. Eagle even has his own constellation called “Aquila”.

When an animal shows up playing the same role in countless cultures, we know we’ve come upon an archetype. There is no mistaking that eagle is representative of divinity itself and harkens a time of communion with Source for those who come into conscious relationship with the eagle animal totem. Eagle spirit animal teaches us how to trust in the currents of grace to hold us aloft and how to carry lofty values with dignity. Remember not to get too caught up in the path of enlightenment.

Eagle must come to Earth to feed and rest. Dependence on the mundane existence will keep you humble and is necessary for the spiritual path. Care for the body in your soul and the soul in your body. Eagle will help show the way, uniting in you heaven and Earth.

Eagle Spirit Animal & the First Shaman

The first shaman was said to be an eagle and eagles play a pivotal role in the cosmology in shamanic traditions around the world. According to the author Mircea Eliade in Shamanism: Archaic Techniques of Ecstasy, the Buryat people of Siberia tell this story:

“The gods created man, and he lived happily until the time when the evil spirits spread sickness and death over the earth. The gods decided to give mankind a shaman to combat disease and death, and they sent the eagle. But men did not understand its language… The eagle returned to the gods and asked them to give him the gift of speech, or else to send a Buryat shaman to men. The gods sent him back with an order to grant the gift of shamanizing to the first person he should meet on earth. Returned to earth, the eagle saw a woman asleep under a tree, and had intercourse with her. Some time later the woman gave birth to a son, who became the ‘first shaman.’ According to another variant, the woman, after her connection with the eagle, saw spirits and herself became a shamaness.”

The message that eagle spirit animal brings is more than a mere edict stated in words. It should mean something to us that eagle doesn’t have a complex vocal language. The “message” eagle brings is more akin to what the story of the first shaman indicates. The eagle bestows spiritual gifts that allow us to come into service of others, the heavens, and the world. Eagle, like Garuda, helps us dispel evil first within ourselves and then in the world.

Possibility

The meaning of eagle reminds us of possibility, the kind of possibility that opens up when we rise above earthly concerns and open our minds to Source. The eagle is a symbol of freedom and courage because you need both to find God.

The reality is that, by its very nature, existence cannot have any boundary, because what will be beyond the boundary? – Again another sky… Skies upon skies are available for your flight.” – Osho Zen Tarot

Astronomers know this truth. As we develop stronger and stronger telescopes we continue to see that beyond each universe is another. Now is the time to take flight and break free from the imaginary boundaries that hold you back. There is nothing on Earth that eagle cannot soar above. Join him and know the same is true for you.

I have had my grandchildren for the majority of their lives ages 7 and 9. Their mother was neglectful and abusive to them. I gained guardianship years ago. The court has awarded them back to her. The court never considered the neglect abuse in the past, because she has employment and a home she is now a fit mother, She has taken the kids 1000 miles away from the only family unit they know. Totally isolated, All the structure love & family they knew is gone, The pain I feel is almost unbearable. I saw an eagle in the medium today, a huge eagle that flew up in front of my truck. I am looking at this as a wonderful sign. Please tell me more. Please tell me things will get better and we will find some peace in this life and the suffering we feel will stop. The suffering from the kids mother has been going on for at least 17 years, Now he kids suffer with her.

I just had a dream I was standing by a pond and looked up and seen so many eagles soaring over my head. They was so many until they literally formed one big eagle then they started soaring over my head. So I ran in the house where my grandmother was and alot of the eagles came after me they was hitting against the windows with their beak(nose) trying to get in but they couldn’t the windows was not breakable. Any insight about this dream? Just to add I always have dreams about eagles soaring over me.

Hello Careen, That sounds like a very powerful dream. How fortunate that you have the opportunity to be with the tribe of the eagles in the dreamtime. I would suggest viewing your house as a metaphor for your soul and the eagles as a metaphor for the divine. Often mystics talk about letting the light of the sacred shine into the windows of our soul. The Divine may be tapping on your windows asking for permission to come in. Many Blessings to you, Stacey

I have been troubled by the passing of my youth. I still feel like I did when I was 30. I have looked very much younger than my actual age for so long, and now that is beginning to change. I am 56, and it even feels strange to say that. I only feel my actual age when people remind or tell me I am a middle aged woman. It might be part vanity, but I have been blessed with great stamina and strength all my life.
In a dream state (3 days ago), I saw a golden eagle come to me. I felt the message was to let go of what was and move into my wisdom years, leave the struggles of past times and fly with the Eagle to a new vantage point. I felt a great unspoken pressure lift off me.
When I found this post today, I was hit right away with a resonance in your words. When I read, “Eagle spirit animal offers you an opportunity to practice seeing your life differently.” I saw that as my dream message. Your words in the ‘Possibility’ last paragraph inspired me. Thank you

Hello RJ, This is an example of divine union – an experience of feeling one with God. The color gold is associated with the sun and higher goals/aspirations. It also relates to positive thoughts. This could mean that you are receiving an awareness of where you’d like to go and or coming into alignment with a vision of your higher purpose. Hello Linda, Your correlation between the sun and the eagles sounds very similar to RJ’s story that was shared in a comment just before yours! You’ll have to take a look and see. Eagles are often associated with the sun because they are such high flying, diurnal (meaning daytime) birds. If we think of the eagle as representing a higher power, then we understand that you are receiving a vision that says two different views of God may actually look and be the same. The number two represents duality, polarity and companionship, and the number one represents unity and wholeness. I would recommend taking a look at your beliefs in a higher power and see if you are moving from one way to more than one way to see God. Hopefully that makes sense. Many Blessings, Stacey

Hi Stacey i just turned 47 0n july 19th. I was born in 1969 and have always felt connected to the skies, The funny thing about turning 47 and my story is that in the last couple of weeks. Something i believe as amazing and very powerful has been happening to me, I found out years back that i have suffered from A.D.H.D probably my whole life and was put on a disability and in the past i have tried all sorts of medications for it, Because ive always had a hard time focusing and completing things. Well i started a new medication just over two months ago and it seems my Focus has increased ten fold in every concept of my life especially with trying to figure out the reason for life and my existence and ive always believced in God but never really read the bible, But the things ive been seeing and the feelings i have encountered in the last two weeks are the most strongest ive ever felt for some reason i feel totally connected to the moon and earth and maybe evrything else connected to this, to me its been scary and comforting all in one i feel that everything in life is a message but im not sure if its something i should follow or talk about in case what im feeling is trickery from the Devil himself might sound crazy but something has been telling me through theories and scenarios in my mind that the end is near. For example ive been witnessing U.F.Os evry night in my city which is in Canada.and im not sure if there connected to the Devil or God the reason why i thought id write this is im not sure what all this means and trust me if i can find an answer i will. Because ive always have had a impressive instinct or intuition. But i asked google a question today because ive been watching the skies lately alot and this morning happened to see what i believed to be 2 Eagles soaring in the sky together and that kind of through me for a loop Because i kind of thought that Eagles soared alone and i dont know enough about Eagles to know if its true they soar alone hoping taht you might have some insight for me. And one last thing in the last two weeks evrything ive been noticing for instance the clouds and the strong feelings taht absolutely everything is connected and taht absolutely everything from words to material things has a message it conveys to us and that i feel its quite possible that we always should be trying to figure out these messages. Know it sounds absolutely crazy but does this convey anything to your thoughts or beliefs and if so what do u believe might be happening to me and my mind. #Curious in Canada ?

Hello Darren, There seems to be a new surge of awakening happening for many at this time. The planet Uranus and his ability to catalyze breakthroughs and breakdowns is shaking the world. I’ve received messages from many sharing their unique need to commune with the sacred and understand this great shift that is taking place. Eagles do soar together, sometimes in large groups. In Alaska they can be as thick of a flock of sea gulls chasing a school of fish. The number two speaks of duality and polarity, as well as the need to reconcile the different sides of ourselves. Eagle spirit animal himself represents union with The One, so in your vision I hear the dance between opposites and union. Stay mindful. Stay grounded. Find your center. Watch the effects of your visions and revelations. If they bring you further from your small self (some call it the mind or the ego) and more into love of your fellow man they are from God. If you find them pulling you into self-importance and involvement pull away from them and focus on what brings you to love. Many Blessings, Stacey

This has happened in past too. I really don’t know wat it means. She comes the moment I go outside in balcony and when I don’t she makes a few noises as if she is calling me. This week there were infact two of them. It scared me a lot. I had gone thru ur article. Its no doubt well written and full of knowledge. I had thought of eagles a bad omen until i read ur article. Hello Deepti, I see it as a gift anytime a wild animal chooses to be in our company, especially on a daily basis. Those eagles could go anywhere in the world and they chose your balcony! That’s pretty mind boggling when you think about it. So, no I don’t think an encounter with any animal is a bad omen. Animals come to us as messengers, helping us connect to the sacred in the every day. There you are doing the mundane jobs of laundry and chores and there the eagles are reminding you of your spirit’s capacity to soar beyond the bounds of your daily life. Thank you for reading this article and telling your story. Many Blessings, Stacey

Hello Kalisha, The eagle spirits may have come to remind you to open your mind to the possibilities in both cases. Try taking a wider view of your life and seeing what all might be possible. On the other hand, the eagles may be mirroring a process that is happening already within you. The key question is: Do you genuinely feel like you’re considering all of your options or is fear limiting your imagination? Have the courage of the eagle to go big and fly high. This is the very first time this has ever hapoened to me. I had a vision, it came in a series of symbols. This happened while I was in a relaxed state but not sleeping, the images were very vived. The first symbol I got was a pocket watch, it looked like an antique. The next symbol was of a drawing of a human eye. My intuition kicked in and I knew I should start to read the symbols. The next symbol I saw was an eagle soaring. In my mind I read out, “Watch, I can fly.” After I read that I got eagle vision. I was soaring through the sky feeling amazed and taking in the all sights in a birds eye view. It funny because I am afraid of hieghts, it makes my stomach turn, even if its simulated on tv. However, in this vision, I felt at ease. Would this be my animal spirit guide, telling me to see things from another perspective? Or dose it mean that I should take things stride and soar above those who are against me?

Hello Jimmy, That is a very good question. White animals in general are typically associated with the north on the medicine wheel, but this can vary depending on which cultural knowledge you are drawing from. There are many meanings that come with the color white including spirituality, winter, purity, sacredness, the Divine, angels, essential, clarity, expansion, newness, milk, and tabula rasa. Of course, none of these concepts seem to sum up the whole of the magic of working with a white animal. There is a brilliance in this truth because it keeps us asking “why” or “what does this mean?” which fosters our connection with the spirit animal. If all of our questions were answered, would we continue to engage? Probably not, but with unanswered questions, we can’t help but return over and over again. Many Blessings, Stacey

Like you said that curiosity draws you to the spirit animal. Law of attraction: What you focus your attention on becomes your reality. I found out in some cultures an eagle is on the top of the tree of life and the is serpent on the bottom, a white eagle is seen in pics of Vishnu whose name kept popping up in my head and also a golden statue which felt like deity. I later found out the statue was the Buddha and then I found out that Vishnu once lived on earth as the Buddha! Vishnu is said to appear on earth once again as Kalki on a white horse(another one of my mysterious white animal totems) when the new golden age begins. Crazy huh? he must be a patron deity of mine or something.

Thank you for that insight. I instinctively knew this sighting had something to do with spiritual nourishment and your interpretation about the frozen water signifying frozen spiritual truths makes a lot of sense to me. My spiritual life had been quite ‘frozen’ for some time now. Things in my life had taken a very bad turn–not that they’d ever been easy, but this past decade has been especially difficult for me with experiencing much loss through many deaths, divorce, great financial loss, career loss and then a fibromyalgia diagnosis. In my anger about it all, I abandoned what I’d always held true. It’s only been recently since the sighting actually, and with the coming of spring and the thaw, that my spirit itself has become ‘unfrozen’. Old truths that I’d always innately known deep in my psyche and soul have risen back to the surface, back to the forefront of my consciousness. I’m becoming interested once again in my spiritual path and have been examining the mystical truths that are my foundation, as you had put it. During these past few months since the sighting I have been feeling more gratitude for what I have and what is around me, and this has been helping me to move forward in body, mind and spirit. I will indeed, keep referring back to my eagle sighting and remember the wisdom about it that you shared.

Thank you for the clarity. I had initially thought that my post was not responded to, but somehow the Powers That Be led me to your reply at a time when I was better able to accept it, and as the eagle in my sighting was doing, take it in and digest it.

I will certainly email my photo to you right now!

Recently I dreamed I was in a field and saw three thunderbirds (like aircrafts called thunderbirds) but there was no noise and they each did a loop one after the other and following their loop they vanished and in my dream i felt awe and I said “what are we seeing?” Then immediately a huge (a person size tall, eagle aflame but not burning just aflame like that’s just who he is all the time, normal…flew down and stood right in front of me facing me…I was dumbstruck at its Presence no words were spoken…I don’t remember waking right up but the dream came to me not long after I awoke…I also remembered that Eagles were referred to in some tribes as thunderbirds. But it is such a mystery to me. Am also seeing lots of ladybugs in my home these days? Anyway your insight would be so helpful.

Hello Carol, You are correct. Eagles are known as thunderbirds in some tribes. This has to do with their associations with the heavens and the power of the heavens. I love the synchronicity of them having the name thunderbirds and them being associated with the Greek god Zeus who is the god of lightning and thunder. Lightning/thunder is symbolically related to being struck with divine inspiration or revelation. Either way, it does sound like you are coming into a more intimate organic relationship with the power of eagle spirit animal seeing that the initial vision was of distant machines and ended with the real, live bird up close and personal. Lots to ponder and I’m sure more will unfold over time. Many Blessings, Stacey

Thank you beautiful soul for this remarkable piece on Eagles!

Have been struggling with which direction to go in in terms of where my partner and I should live. After going back and forth in our decision, we finally agreed on a place in a different state.

On the way up to visit one last time before deciding, I saw a young (no white on top at all, all brown) Eagle. Then on the 3rd day of the visit I saw another young Eagle with a speckled head of brown and white. But it was when the deal was finally sealed and that we were in fact going to move to this location, a HUGE fully white headed and beautifully STRONG looking Eagle flew right in front of my eyesight so gracefully that I just KNEW we had made the right decision ???? !

My partner and I are both healers and psychic mediums and I just KNEW that was Spirit saying, “welcome home!”

Thanks again for the beautiful insight!

I woke one night to see a golden eagle sitting next to me on the floor, I felt happy to see it and said hello there. It stared at me without blinking for hours, only saying can I sit on your bed so many times in a mans voice (in my head). I said no and why a lot. He looked so healthy and golden, he had big brown eyes I was mesmerised by his beauty. I fell back to sleep then woke to find that he was still there, still asking if he could sit on my bed. I released that I had a big eagle in my room and i was staring down a wild animal. I got scared as soon as i felt scared he told me not to fear him and that he would never harm me, not me. So now i felt calm again all the while asking if he could sit on my bed. After a while i fell back to sleep. I need to know what this means

Hello Fiona, Remember that the visits from spirit animals hold a number of messages, so be sure to keep searching for guidance in the encounter to fill your basket full. Here are some ideas… your soul could be calling you to embody the qualities of eagle such as vision, openness to possibility and a deep connection with source. The eagle spirit animal could be appearing to you to bring you to a new level of connection and awareness. There may be a situation in your life that requires you rise above it and take a more objective, cool headed view. Lots to think about and integrate. Either way, I’m sure this relationship will unfold over time and continue to reveal treasures to you. Many Blessings, Stacey

The shadow was a shape of an eagle. A week later i dreamt that my puppy and I were sitting outside, it was a beautiful day. When three very large golden eagles landed. I knew they wanted to eat my puppy, I was so scared so I called for my eagle. He flew passed me just in front of me, he was so big, I remember how wide he wings were to the others. They did not take him on and flew away

Hello Austin, Thank you for sharing your vision. It is worth considering what eagle represents to you in this vision. Is the eagle a symbol for God or the Creator? Is the eagle representative of your own soul rescuing you from being grounded in unproductive thoughts? Either way, it sounds like you might be going through some ups and downs. Having faith that all will be well and that you are connected to something greater than yourself will help for sure. Many Blessings, Stacey

Hello Lea, What a beautiful encounter. See how the eagle caused your son-in-law to look up and feel exalted and how this rippled out to inspire you and now me? The spirit animals are more than simple omens of greatness or a happy future. They offer us the opportunity to touch the sacred, to feel connected to something, or someone, much greater than us. We feel like Spirit sees us in those moments and we see Him/Her. What an awesome thing a solitary eagle can do! I encourage you to see what conversations about the meaning of life and the spiritual life this eagle encounter can bring to your family. It is a window worth stepping through. The only school I found available as far as working under a holistic doctor was in India. Where would I start in gaining education and experience in natural medicines and shamanic healing? I don’t want to really be careless and google if it’s not sending me to the right place. I could use maybe an idea of what the process is like to do similar to your profession and where a reliable source is to start on a serious path towards doing this. Hello Stacey! And you spell your name the same too – how fun! There are a vast number of shamanic arts schools out there as well as natural/herbal medicinal schools. They aren’t often taught together so you may need to seek out two different schools. It is hard to sort through and see what schools are credible and reputable with so many to choose from. I recommend you take introductory classes from schools that perk your interest and that you take your time deciding. The Society for Shamanic Practice has a lot of schools and teachers listed to choose from. Sandra Ingerman also has a lovely school for shamanism. I also do one-on-one tutoring if you’re interested in working with me to start. You can email me at info@wildgratitude.com to set something up. Many Blessings, Stacey

I found your page by looking up a golden eagle spirit animal and your page is wonderful. Lots of good info but I was hoping you could help me interpret my encounter I recently had plz.
I was out on an afternoon drive with my husband when I spotted a golden eagle perched on a cedar fence post. I had my husband slow down so I could take her picture. Oh I was mesmerized by her she just stood there staring at me as I took several pictures. She wasn’t afraid nor seemed stressed of me hanging out the passenger side window of the truck taking her picture. She stared at me it felt like she touched my soul and I didn’t want to leave I could have sat there with her for hours admiring her. I can’t stop thinking about it still to this day. I was hoping you could help me figure out the message she was sending me?

Hello Celeste, I am so sorry for your loss. It sounds like you have already begun to make the association between the visit with the eagle and your dad. Often our loved ones on the other side will send animal messengers to comfort and uplift us in times of need. Think of how much this experience has fed you already. All you have to do is pull up the memory of the golden eagle and your heart is filled with wonder. Remembering your dad likely brings both great love and great sorrow. Sometimes a dose of love and wonder such as the eagle brought is the kind of medicine we need in deep grief. Many Blessings, Stacey

    Hello Stacey,
I recently had an experience were I saw three eagles in two days. The first one was yesterday, a bald eagle flying down into the water to catch a fish. I thought that this was not unusual as I occasionally see eagles flying in over that area, although it was the first time I’ve seen one fishing. However, today I was siting inside when I saw out the window two birds flying together, I heard one cry out and I looked and realized it was two bald eagles flying together fairly low over the street outside. I think it must mean something to have seen three eagles in two days, in two separate areas. I’ve always appreciated eagles and thought of them to be a good sign for me. What do you think that these sightings mean?

Hello Maria, That is a lot of eagle sightings in one week! In my experience, the same species of animals show up in succession like this to get our attention. If you’d just seen one eagle, you may have thought “well that’s nice” and gone on your way. But now that you’ve seen four in such a short time you are engrossed in a search for the meaning of their presence. In this way, we are invited into conversation with the divine. How has your spiritual life been? Have you been considering how to find more connection with the sacred? Or are you pursuing a deeper spiritual life? Either way, I encourage you to evaluate the nature of your spiritual life and how you might want to cultivate more connection. I see eagles as the ones that bring divine messages to us and the hawks as the ones that bring our prayers/requests to the Divine. Maybe you’re starting to see the conversation works both ways? See if that fits, and if nothing else, this search and questioning in you is an opening to the holy that is worth any effort. Many Blessings, Stacey

Hello Liss, Thank you for sharing your story and for taking the time to write your question. Eagles can represent the presence of God/Spirit/Creator and having an eagle fly over us can be taken as a reminder that we are being watched over. It sounds like your heart was wide open with sadness in that moment, and the eagle may have brought support and solace that nothing else could. The messages don’t have to be in words, in fact they are stronger when they aren’t. I think there’s a good chance that the this eagle was a channel for grace for you in that moment. The reminder of the sighting when you were a teenager seems to bring everything full circle and acknowledge the long-standing relationship with the land. Many Blessings, Stacey

Hello Eddie, I do not say an animal sighting is bad or good. The main reason for this is that it sells the meaning of the encounter terribly short. There are so many layers of what an animal sighting means that I could write volumes about just a single species. I encourage you to study the symbolism of eagles on a deep level. To start, check in with yourself to see what elements of this article you connect with and then sit with those ideas over time. You’ll find yourself like a detective uncovering more and more clues, building a more and more detailed story that brings deep insight. One of your first clues… the color white is symbolic of purity and new beginnings (i.e. a clean slate). Lots to consider here. Many Blessings, Stacey

Hello Justin, Thank you for sharing your story. I am not familiar with the specifics of the wedge tail eagle, but as with any species of eagle, you are looking at connection to the divine. If you are not already opening up more to the sacred, this may be a call to do so. My hunch is that there is more than one message especially since you keep seeing them over and over. This is likely more than just a message or meaning, but a deepening of relationship with the force that moves through all things. Many Blessings, Stacey

    Dear Stacey,

I have been experiencing some Eagle(Golden Eagle) visits recently. I live with my wife in Mumbai, India. Typically, one of them is perched on the railing of our balcony near our bedroom every few days. This has happened 5-6 times in a span of ten days. Once I even had the experience of the eagle looking at me me straight into my eyes from a few few feet away and it felt quite surreal. Another time, I even took pictures of the eagle as it was about to fly away. As if there was a message it wanted to give me… Followed by that, I heard one eagle calling out loudly – almost to attract attention- and made me look out of the bathroom window. As I acknowledged it and said ‘yes thanks I saw you’ it flew away.

I read about such experiences and the spiritual meaning of eagle visits and in most places I found that it seems to be a good sign… “messenger from heaven, sign of courage and freedom, new beginning, power and success, possibilities, and many other positive things…” so I felt it’s all good and also felt reassured about continuing on my spiritual path… not getting bogged down by my current problems and to hold on to my dreams and aspirations.

After that, I realized that there are quite a few eagles living near our house(apartment complex)- as it faces a small lake, I see them soaring over the lake and occasionally resting in the balconies of adjoining buildings like ours. So, I felt maybe I am reading too much into it and stopped thinking about the eagle visits. And also, i didn’t notice them perched in our balcony anymore.

Then a strange thing happened today, while I was putting some clothes to dry, an eagle brushed past my head with its wing! I was a little shocked and instinctively my hand went to the back of my head and I felt there was no injury… and at the same moment I saw it fly ahead in front of me and then take a u turn mid air- as if to show me that it was ‘an eagle’ and fly away…

So today, I read a lot again and found the same positive things written but nothing so exact about getting touched/brushed by an eagle’s wing while in flight and its meaning and context when seen along with the earlier encounters….

Please do shed some light if you have any insights…

Thanks for writing and helping so many people understand such spiritual experiences in a better way!

    Best,
    RK

Hello. I have had some crazy synchronosities over the last 18 months. It started with finding dimes (like everywhere not just where you’d expect to find change, including a liberty dime in my driveway). Since August 2016, I have found well over 100 (closing in on 150 actually) just dimes. Occasionally there would be a penny with it. Then came the hawks and the heart shaped rocks. Multiple times I would see 20 hawks in a day, and if I didn’t see any in a day that would be very rare. I’ve been collecting rocks my entire life, but until last fall I probably only found a dozen heart shaped rocks total (and that’s a high estimate). I counted the other night and my ???? shaped rock count is over 80! since maybe July or August. Then since November, I have seen 14 bald eagles. And to be clear I live in Southwest Ohio, where eagles are making a comeback, but by no means are they common…I’ve seen one prior to that in the wild (ever and I’m 41) and it was 3 years ago. The sensation I got at the time of the first sighting 3 years ago was “patience.” I’ve wondered if whatever I have been patient for might be about to unfold. Any insight would be great, but I just wanted to share my story.

These are uplifting and wondrous times not to be taken for granted, and eventually they shift away and we are left in quietude again. It happens like this in cycles, so it is lovely that you have the rocks as momentos to remind you and comfort you later on when you are in a more silent stage. Many Blessings, Stacey

I'm so thrilled I found your site. When I was growing up I had a few years of constant, negative supernatural experiences because someone in my family was not using her gifts in a good way, and didn't ground herself (I just found this out). It was terrorizing. I too am gifted, but I shoved it away because I didn't want to have anything to do with that ever again. Of course you know how Spirit is, it kept popping up.

Fast forward 35 years and now I'm open and excited. I've met a few very talented people that have given me unbelievable news about my life purpose and I can hardly contain myself because it matched what my soul has been saying for a long time. Today my Spirit Whisperer showed me a vivid picture of a bald eagle. SO EXCITING. I live in the hills and my house overlooks a valley so I have every bird imaginable here. I've always had a nest of hawks right outside my windows, but this last season the eagles chased them out. I'm sad for the hawks, but every time I see those eagles soaring around my house I get really excited like a little kid seeing puppies for the first time. Now I'm really going to be a mess 😉

I love your site, I'll be spending a lot of time here <3

    Stacey,

I am 56, “Mid-Life” I suppose one could say and believe I am at a “Falling Upward” point in my life (I am convinced). I have always had a deep interest in Native-American Culture, Wisdom and Philosophy on Life and Life’s Inter-connectedness. Let’s put it this way – I was over-awed and spiritually struck at the Crazy Horse Monument…not so much at Mount Rushmore…for many reasons.

I have always identified with the power, beauty and majesty of eagles – I even had a club in grade school called the “Eagles Club” and managed to rise to the level of an “Eagle” (a US Army Colonel) as a Soldier.

About a month ago, while out walking along a towpath on a canal park in NJ, I happened to come into very close contact with a fully mature Bald Eagle – TWICE! Once on my way out and again on my way back. It was “grounded” at first, then took to flight and perched and watched me…then it took to flight and flew away. The same exact process repeated as I returned from my walk – in the exact same location – about 20 minutes or so later. I have NEVER seen a Bald Eagle (or any eagle) in NJ before…nor have I since.

I used to spend a lot of time as a young boy in/around this canal area and have only just moved back to the area and recently began to spend a good deal of time here again, praying and meditating…seeking some peace and serenity with God, Grandfather…The Great Spirit. I am in the process of a possible job change…giving up a very stable job to take a 50% pay cut, but to pursue a dream that I have had for almost 25 years now to teach students with learning disabilities/special needs and to open a private tutoring business…it is a big gamble and risks financial ruin to some degree.

I have been through a lot of very significant life changes in the last two years – the loss of a very close brother, a father, a mother, a very close father-in-law and a divorce after about 28 years…getting sober in the last six months…and likely retiring very soon from a position of about 30 years that I have dedicated my entire life to and took me around the world – and to many places where life and death were more real than the average person comes to realize…and where death, destruction and despair is commonplace – where darkness and war rage and have raged almost forever it seems.

I place great significance on this Bald Eagle sighting, at this point in my life…and in NJ of all places.

Can you tell me what it might mean for me?

    Thanks, DMB

Maybe helping her show the way to the future? Very strange. Nothing was working this year, the music wouldn’t play from my daughters phone, one of the balloons popped, it was different from the last 3 years….what could it mean. I looked at the clock it was 10:37 AM and I ran to the backyard in the driveway past the carport. Looked up to the east. And then from up under the clouds in illumination of Light appeared I had of any evil a body of a man with these huge wings and it just followed it was white nothing I had never seen before. It didn’t recognize that I was looking at it and it flew over me over my head. He was taller than me I had went to bed he had the top part of him was more Leica up except for his chest is more like a man and he withdrew his knees a.m. and circled eight times above me and I have a piece about me there was no fear in me whatsoever. When he straightened out his back was towards me and the light shine down on his wings but there were two sets underneath meaning he had For wing four wings , One set on top of the other you don’t want to see a slight separation. And then he flew off.
I’ve been trying to research what it was I’ve spoke to my mother I’ve spoke to my brother I’ve spoke to two coworkers one coworker stated that it was either an angel or a demon. But I’ve been having strange dreams since. I’ve been reading the Bible like crazy. I know we are in the end times I can tell from reading the book of Isaiah Jeremiah even as far back asEzequiel you’ve been Genesis. Stories of Queen Esther everything just points back to what we’re going through. But this is the first mention of anything, and that has been closely related to what I saw. I know I’m not crazy I know I saw what I saw and I know it was vivid and real.
