Workshop Overview
In this 12-part workshop, Stacey takes your understanding of astrology to the next level.
During one of the meetings each month, Stacey gives a lecture with slides to add to your astrology knowledge base and students discuss interpretations of their astrology charts. We explore:
- Planetary Condition: Determine if a planet is functioning well or is challenged. Learn about rulership, detriment, exaltation and fall as well as how house placement of a planet effects its condition.
- Aspects: These are the ways the planets “see” and interact with each other. We look at conjunctions, oppositions, squares, trines and sextiles and learn how the personal aspects in your charts describe your life experience.
- Prioritizing: Using planetary condition and aspects, we prioritize which elements in an astrology chart are the most impactful in your lives. These are the primary unique signatures or fingerprints of your chart.
- And more? Depending on how the pacing of the group goes, we may venture into other areas of interest as time allows
The other meeting each month, Stacey guides you on a shamanic journey to the stars. We use unique indicators in your personal astrology charts to inform where in the heavens you go on your journeys. Your charts helps us pinpoint what to ask for guidance and support with. Shamanic journeys to the planets and the constellations are an excellent way to develop a direct and intuitive relationship with astrology. This intuitive and experiential way of working balances out the left brain knowledge with right brain intuition. This allows for further integration of the ancient divination system of traditional astrology.

* Do you need to know astrology?
Yes – a little bit! This workshop is intended for beginner astrology students who have a basic understanding of the houses, zodiac signs, and planets as well as how the astrology chart is laid out. If you haven’t taken Stacey’s “Cosmic Beginnings: Essentials for Reading Astrology Charts,” please contact Stacey to discuss your prior experience and make sure you’re a good fit for this workshop.
Will Stacey read your natal chart?
Parts of it, yes. Throughout the workshop, Stacey will rotate through each student’s chart and use them as examples. This is unique to this small group workshop. Usually astrology is taught in big group settings where only a select few students may have the fortune of their chart being briefly read. Astrology teachers typically use charts of famous people as examples, but Stacey won’t do any of that.
Stacey exclusively uses your charts as examples. This gives you a chance to familiarize yourself with your own chart and also get to know the charts of your classmates as you get to know them. This applied and connected way of working helps you apply astrology to your own life much quicker and more easily.
What type of astrology is Stacey teaching?
In this workshop, Stacey teaches traditional astrology using Whole Sign House calculations. The focus of this workshop is natal chart interpretation. Astrology is a complex way of correlating the movements of the heavens with what is happening in your life. There are a multitude of different ways to map the movements of the planets, select different periods of time, and decide which connections matter. Sticking with one teacher for six months helps you get the essentials down and avoid confusion.
Please note: This is a workshop for your personal growth, not a training for you to do astrological readings for others.
What is astrology about?
Astrology is a beautiful divination system. It deepens your understanding of who you are and what you’ve come here to do in this lifetime. It reveals your passions, your callings, and what inspires you and irritates you. Astrology helps you describe how you operate as well as the focus, pace, and style of your actions.
The challenges you face in life can be found in your natal chart, and so can your sources of good fortune. Your shadow shows up there along with your light. By understanding the celestial patterns of astrology, you gain insights into how to transmute your shadow and express your unique gifts.
Stacey works from the perspective that the planets do not “cause” us to be a certain way. All of life is a mix of fate and free will. The planets are in us and we are in the planets. What is in one is in the whole. We could describe your natal chart as a cosmic, archetypal mirror of your inner self. The archetypes in your astrological chart are messengers. It is up to you to decide what to do with the messages. This is an entirely co-creative process that serves to connect you on a deeper level with yourself and with the cosmos.

In this digital era people tend to be more casual about online activities. That works really well for the mass presentations with one teacher speaking to hundreds of students online, but for small, intimate discussion groups like we are forming, live attendance is necessary to make this work.
Your fellow seekers need your voice and questions to enrich the experience. Out of respect for your fellow seekers, please don’t fail to show and take up the spot of someone who would have been able to attend and benefit from the discussion.
Please be sure to check your calendars and make sure that the times and dates work for you in your time zone. And be sure to reserve the time in your schedule. The fee for this small group workshop must be paid in advance and is non-refundable.
After each session, you receive an audio recording of the meeting to download via Dropbox. Recordings are available within 24-hours after each session. These recordings are available for download for 6 months following the workshop. If all students consent to video recording, video recordings will also be made available. Please note, that you need to attend a live session and meet your fellow students before you receive the link to the recordings.
One week prior to the event, you will receive an email with details on how to attend the event via your computer, mobile device or phone. It is preferred that you attend the event via video conference, but you can also call in by phone.
Cancellation Policy
There are no refunds for this workshop once you register unless your space can be filled. If you need to cancel and your spot in the workshop is able to be filled, you may receive the option of a refund minus a 5% processing fee.
Full enrollment is required for Stacey to hold this class. If the workshop does not fill, Stacey reserves the right to cancel the workshop and refund your full payment.
