In this 12-month workshop, Spiritual Advisor and Archetype Analyst, Stacey Couch guides five students through a year of personal tarot card readings. NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE with tarot is necessary. Each student receives an annual tarot spread prior to beginning*. During the twice monthly meetings, Stacey helps interpret the guidance from the cards and the symbols related to them.
Each month we cover the meaning of your card for the month. We explore the many symbols connected with the card including archetypes, spirit animals, and the astrology related to the card. Stacey draws on mythology, fairytale, mysticism, and alchemy to add even more depth to the meaning of the tarot cards. This is a global approach to moving intentionally through your year and showing up for life in alignment with your soul.
As an added layer to the spread, we combine the meaning of the twelve astrological houses with the meaning of your card of the month. Each month corresponds to an astrological house. We start with the first house in January.
There is also a single “card of the year” in the tarot spread helps illuminate and anchor the larger energies at play. We revisit that card throughout the year.
Support is available between meetings via a private group chat. Meeting recordings allow you to catch up if you have to miss a meeting.
*You also have the option of casting your own annual tarot spread with cards you own or that you purchase with Stacey’s recommendation.
What is Tarot?
Tarot is a set of 78 illustrated cards that has evolved over the centuries into a divination system that reveals intuitive and spiritual guidance. Tarot emerged in it’s current form of 22 major arcana and 56 minor arcana cards during the Italian Renaissance (circa 1440). The most recent and popular version of the Tarot comes from the 1909 release of the illustrations by Pamela Colman Smith and interpretations by A.E. Waite in the Rider-Waite-Smith deck. In this workshop, we work with the original Rider-Waite-Smith deck as well as modern adaptations and interpretations of the deck by current day authors and illustrators.
Tarot may seem overwhelming at first because of the sheer volume of cards and variations of different card decks. When working with Stacey you have all the support you need. She expertly guides students through their tarot card spreads. We have ample time each month to really get to know the messages that are coming through for you. Stacey also has gathered and vetted key tarot references (both open source and available to purchase) that she points students to as needed. With her years of experience in weaving together different symbolic systems, Stacey helps students put together insights and find actionable steps to take.
This is NOT Fortune Telling
This workshop works with tarot as a window into your soul. Tarot helps reveal hidden gifts, subconscious patterns, and your intuition. Tarot, like any sound divination tool, can foster your connection with the divine. The cards may point to energies that are coming up in the year ahead, but there is no way to tell how these energies will manifest. That is up to you. Stacey approaches tarot in a way that honors your co-creative ability. Her teaching on the tarot respects both free will and Divine will and the dance between the two. Stacey does not give predictions about literal, external events that will happen in the future. Her way of facilitation helps dispel fears students have about potential doomsday predictions coming from oracle decks and psychics.
The Benefit of a Full Year
Combining the tarot with the twelve house astrological wheel helps personalize your readings in profound ways. We cover one card in one house per month. The knowledge and wisdom from the astrological houses give the tarot cards context. As we go along, we reflect on house oppositions revealing major themes that recur throughout the year.
An annual tarot spread gives each student time to fully be with the messages that come, do their own research and reflection, and receive a gracious amount of support and care. Annual workshops and wheels are Stacey’s preferred method of working. She excels in holding space for students over this longer span of transformation.
Stacey Couch is a trained and experienced facilitator who holds space for the process, channels Divine support through ceremony, and shows up for students as they navigate the healing that can come through the images and symbols in the tarot.
Please note: This is a workshop for your personal insight. It is not a training for you to do tarot readings for others.

This workshop guided by Stacey provides a community for you and other seekers involved in deep transformation. Here you have an opportunity to talk, think, listen and feel through what you are experiencing. Stacey has over 15 years of experience leading groups in spiritual companionship.
Talking with others about your interior life can be scary, especially when your experiences are different than those of the people around you. That’s the value of the being in a workshop with Stacey Couch. She provides a safe place to reveal conversations with your soul. Stacey holds a sacred space for you to share, for different ideas to arise, and for kinship and compassion beyond tolerance to grow. Her work is that of guiding you to the knowing that resides in your divinity.
In this workshop, we share our questions and consider possibilities. There is no doctrine, no right answer, and no one person smarter or wiser than the other. We all bring our own life experience and wisdom. In this space it is okay to not have the answers. In fact, that is the gentlest position. Rather than try to answer all of each other’s questions, we explore ideas and sit in wonder, wondering what is and sharing the little glimpses we each have the privilege to know.
Attendance is Strongly Encouraged
Please check your calendars carefully and be sure that you are available to attend the majority of sessions. Since this workshop is for a small amount of people, your regular attendance is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED once you register.
Your participation is key to make this work. In the course of a year, events do come up that prevent students from attending occasional meetings and this is totally understandable. Stacey asks that you limit absences to as few as possible and commit to attending the majority of our meetings.
In this digital era people tend to be more casual about online activities. That works really well for the mass presentations with one teacher speaking to hundreds of students online, but for small, intimate discussion groups like we are forming, live attendance is critical to make this work.
Your fellow seekers need your voice and questions to enrich the experience.
Please be sure to check your calendars and make sure that the times and dates work for you in your time zone. And be sure to reserve the time in your schedule. The fee for this small group workshop must be paid in advance and is non-refundable.
After each workshop, you receive an audio recording of the meeting to download via Dropbox. Recordings are available within 24-hours after each session. These recordings are available for download for 6 months following the workshop. If all students consent to video recording, video recordings will also be made available. Please note, that you need to attend a live session and meet your fellow students before you receive the link to the recordings.
One week prior to the event, you will receive an email with details on how to attend the event via your computer, mobile device or phone. It is preferred that you attend the event via video conference, but you can also call in by phone.
Cancellation Policy
There are no refunds for this workshop once you register. If you need to cancel prior to the workshop starting and your spot in the workshop can be filled, you may receive the option of a refund minus a 5% processing fee. No refunds are available once the workshop begins.
Full enrollment is required for Stacey to hold this class. If the workshop does not fill, Stacey reserves the right to cancel the workshop and refund your full payment.

This workshop was an absolute blast! It created the space for me to discover that there was always more to explore within a card and, in turn, within myself. Each month, I appreciated the facilitation, knowledge and wisdom Stacey provided as well as her ability to create the space for me to explore what the Tarot cards were trying to show me.
Stacey has a true gift of taking something vast and complex and breaking it down into aspects I could digest, integrate and walk forward with. The structure she creates gave me the opportunity to really get to know each card beyond what I might initially see or understand. Some months the cards felt like “home,” while others helped me uncover deeper layers I never knew existed.
As this year comes to a close, I feel honored by this entire experience and everything it opened within myself, my life, and my relationship with the Divine.

I have been a student of Stacey’s for many years. This course was offered at a time that I really needed. The pacing of the course allowed me to study the card and contemplate its meaning in my life and then our group meetings provided a safe circle to discuss the material with layered introspection. Stacey has a particular knack for creating a sacred space for sharing, invested listening, reflection and open dialogue. Furthermore, her extensive knowledge and expertise prompts deeper insight and understanding that not only continues to impact self-understanding but creates a blend of concepts that applies to individuality yet wholeness of the person. Self understanding with compassion lead to an ease in self awareness that is supportive, healing and refreshing. No class is ever the same or rote; the content unfolds as naturally authentic as a conversation with an old friend and teacher. The knowledge she shares is both classically based and as fresh and culturally relevant. It is always an asset to take a course with Stacey.

Having come to this year-long workshop as a complete novice, I’m astounded at how much I’ve learned. I felt seen, supported, and a sense of belonging throughout the journey with thoughtful and informative synthesis Stacey shared each week. Stacey’s expertise in weaving together participants’ experiences in the group space enriched the process of reading, reflecting, listening, integrating what the cards had to say month by month. Harvesting nuggets of information by re-reading my notes for authors, books, and even website references Stacey offered opened the door for rich inquiry and satisfying self-led discovery between sessions. Once around the Wheel is only the beginning!

I have taken many classes with Stacey over the years and have enjoyed and been enriched by every one.
When Stacey introduced the Year of the Tarot I couldn’t wait to join!
I thoroughly enjoyed this class. Not only do you study and break down the cards, Stacey gives you time to reflect, study and learn many layers of the cards. I found that listening to other student’s perspectives very informative and interesting and helpful.
As always Stacey holds sacred space for learning, teaching and processing. I loved how the cards came alive in my life, helping me to see patterns and helping me to make positive changes in my life. I have brought these teachings forward in my daily life and actually cast a new wheel in 2026! I highly recommend this class!

It’s been an intriguing Year with Tarot and self-reflection within the small group womb of community that Stacey creates and nourishes. Along with her receptive presence and personal wisdom, Stacey offers a breadth of mythological, astrological, numerological, shamanic, and literary knowledge that make this journey an adventure into the vast realms of consciousness. As the year comes to a close, I feel enriched and grateful to have had this opportunity for growth and sharing.

I’ve studied with Stacey for many years, and I can’t remember missing a single one of her courses. She has been my teacher, mentor, spiritual director, and guide, and every class has been worth the investment.
What sets her apart is how she teaches. She helps you see how the details fit into the whole, so you can use what you learn in your personal and professional life. She also takes the time to know each student and listens closely, and you always feel supported. Somehow, each course feels as if it was made just for you.
Her Tarot course is both practical and mystical, and it takes place in a space that feels safe, relaxed, and sacred. Whether you are brand new to Tarot or already a professional, you will leave with real understanding and a deeper connection to the cards.
I recommend Stacey and this method of learning Tarot without hesitation. She is the real deal. This particular journey of Tarot will literally change your life for the good.
